The Salvation Army Pine Summit Camp exists for kids aged 8-17 years old to have the adventure of a lifetime! Located at Big Bear, CA, they can experience a week of fun in the outdoors, register today!
Overnight Summer Camp experiences for kids and teens aged 8-17 years old. Our fully trained and background-checked staff are ready to give kids the week of their lives as they participate in games, sports, team building, arts, crafts and - of course - campfires! Thanks to the generosity of local donors and foundations, the cost to families is only $25 per week/per camper, which includes transportation from Oceanside to Camp, accommodation, food and all activities.

This year, the Camp experiences available are:
Sports Adventure | Ages 8 – 12 | July 1st – 5th
The goal of Sports Adventure camp is to encourage good sportsmanship, teamwork, physical fitness and most importantly FUN. Camp will include basketball, soccer, obstacle courses, volleyball, human foosball, and more. Proper attire is important, including good tennis shoes, shorts, and sweaters for the evenings! *This camp will include 4th of July festivities!
Teen Wilderness | Ages 13-17 | July 1st-5th, 8th-13th & 15th-19th
An active exploration camp which involves hiking, rock-climbing, and mountain biking. They stay in basic bunkhouse accommodation and then usually have one night sleeping outdoors (weather conditions permitting). It’s a high energy camp that is specifically designed for older youth and a good mix of fun and challenge, with encouraging Bible based discussion times!
Pine Summit Camp is a Christian Camp. As such, there are encouraging faith-based elements throughout the camps, such as worship songs and bible stories during campfires, and prayers before meals. However, all children are very welcome regardless of their beliefs.
